Laura R. Mitre is a creator of experiences that inspire people to expand their understanding of themselves, humanity, and the world around them. Throughout her career, she has combined creativity, education, technology, storytelling, and global exploration to design meaningful learning experiences that educate, inspire, and empower.

Born and raised in Mexico City, Laura developed an early fascination with world history, geography, cultures, languages, and human potential. She pursued studies in International Tourism Business, with an emphasis in global geography and world history, laying the foundation for her lifelong passion for international education and cultural exploration. She later moved to Los Angeles, California, where she became fully bilingual and continued her academic journey through studies in Abnormal psychology and Education, bringing together science, creativity, communication, and human development into a lifelong vocation.
Laura is also a Certified Professional English–Spanish Translator and Interpreter and speaks five languages: Spanish, English, French, Italian, and Portuguese, enabling her to connect with people and organizations across cultures and around the world.
For more than two decades, Laura has worked at the intersection of creative direction, instructional design, multimedia, educational technology, and storytelling. As a Creative Director and Global Instructional Designer, she has led international multimedia and eLearning initiatives while collaborating with healthcare professionals, educators, engineers, marketers, translators, developers, and subject matter experts to create engaging learning experiences for global audiences.
Her professional experience spans instructional design, multimedia production, voice-over, translation, localization, global learning strategy, visual communication, and creative leadership—bringing together art, technology, and education to make complex ideas engaging and accessible.
Driven by a lifelong curiosity about consciousness, creativity, psychology, and the wisdom preserved by ancient civilizations, Laura founded Mitre Creative™, an organization dedicated to helping people learn, create, explore, and grow through innovative educational experiences.
Through Humanology™, she develops educational programs, workshops, multimedia experiences, and learning resources that encourage curiosity, critical thinking, creativity, and lifelong learning while empowering individuals to better understand themselves and their unlimited potential.
Laura is also the founder of Conscious Remembering™, a personal development method that integrates hypnosis, guided introspection, theta-based practices, principles inspired by quantum theory, and sacred geometry to encourage self-exploration, expanded awareness, and meaningful personal transformation. Rather than providing answers, her work is designed to help individuals discover their own.
Believing that some of life's greatest classrooms exist beyond four walls, Laura also founded Mitre Travel™, where she designs immersive educational journeys to some of the world's most remarkable historical and cultural destinations. From Egypt and Peru to Mexico, England, Hawaii, and beyond, these experiences combine history, archaeology, culture, mythology, and personal discovery, inviting travelers to deepen their appreciation of our shared human story while experiencing the world through new perspectives.
